It took nearly a year to cultivate this macroalgae. We found the wild specimen in an aquarium store, commensally growing on a piece of Halimeda. With experimentation (and some failures) we managed to coax it into plating onto a frag plug instead.
The product of our efforts is 'Frilly Red Dress', and we absolutely love it. It's slow growing but it makes up for it by being gorgeous.
