Can you ship to WA?

We're very sorry but due to biosecurity restrictions, we cannot.

Can you ship to TAS?

Yes! None of the macro algae we sell is considered invasive by Tasmanian biosecurity. We will submit the notice of importation form to the biosecurity office on your behalf, and will reach out if there is anything we need from you.

How can I best care for my macroalgae?

So long as your macroalgae doesn't share its tank with SPS coral, we recommend weekly large water changes.

We also generously dose our tanks with Chaeto Gro, to accelerate growth.

What temperature should my tank be kept at?

Every macroalgae we sell is very comfortable in your standard 24ºC tank.

They can also be kept as low as 20ºC, which might help your power bills.

How much light should I give my macros?

Our lighting is on the stronger side, around 200PAR, but it's best to acclimate them with less light first. The rule of thumb is that a macro can survive with too little light. A macro cannot survive with too much.
